A KIND APPEAL BY THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Dear Alumni,

It is our immense pleasure to inform you that the Golden Jubilee of our college and 100th year of our beloved founder Thiru. Arulmamani NTS. Arumugam Pillai is to be celebrated in a grand and impressive manner. This is a rare and unique coincidence for any educational institution.

Late Arulmamani NTS.Arumugam Pillai, founder of our institution returned from Malaysia with his hard earned money with a motive to invest in his home town, Tiruppattur. He had a discussion with his friends about the investment avenues. They suggested to start an industry, so that employment opportunities can be provided to the people of Tiruppattur to upgrade their lives. But, our founder replied that starting an educational institution will produce many businessmen like him, who will inturn start many educational institutions and produce many more doctors, engineers, collectors, government employees, ministers, teachers and as such lakhs of people will be employed.With this noble cause, he started this esteemed institution in the year 1965.

His vision and dream had come true from the evidence of the high position that our alumni holds and the number of graduates who come year after year from our college.

In an attempt to bring his dream to reality, our alumni witnessed their contribution during the Silver Jubilee of our Alma Mater in 1990 – 1991. Our contribution resulted in new class rooms, compound wall and security room.

It is scheduled to have the Golden Jubilee celebration from 20th February, 2015 to 22nd February, 2015 of which 21st February, 2015 is being allocated exclusively for our Alumni. In commemoration of the occasion, in a special meeting of the Alumni executive council it has been unanimously decided to contribute to our institution, a new block with 6 class rooms in the name of Alumni.The approximate budget is above 55 lakhs. Every contributor who donates Rs.10000 and above will be cherished for years with their names engraved in the granite tablet in the building. It is our duty and responsibility to add dynamism to the lives of the youth of our area.
