About the Department
Thiru. N.T.S. Arumugam Pillai, our founder started this College in July 1965. The quality higher education in a disciplined academic ambience is no wonder the attraction of students to our College. B.Sc., Computer Science (Govt. aided) course was started in August 1987 in the main building. In the beginning, Computer Science Department was undertaken by Physics Department. The Computer Center was equipped with two desktop computers (DCM PCs) and a Dot Matrix Printer in an Air-conditioned room. Now, our department computer lab is equipped with 25 computers, 2 laser printers, 1 scanner, 1 LCD projector, and 2 UPS (6 KVA & 3 KVA).
